TATE CASE JUDGE LOOKS FOR GUIDANCE

for the boy involved. Lionel Tate is one of the youngest Americans ever to be
accused of first-degree murder. In the end the judged either needs to reduce
his sentence to second-degree murder or manslaughter in order to avoid life
without parole. The boy killed the six-year-old by body slamming her to death
in mock professional wrestling.

Hello Adrian! I thought your blog post was great and think that the news stories you chose were especially intriguing. I think that the problems were specific to the community and its up to the people to fix it. One that I enjoyed reading about was the Barnes and Noble post. I think its interesting how such a big company like them can have such a massive problem.

I still think it is crazy that the 14 year old could get life without parole, it is really an issue and that is just scary to think about. I definitely see opportunities here too, like with the Barnes & Noble article. The company needs to find a way to boost internet sales, since there are so many other outlets to buy books even cheaper. Good finds so keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteHello Adrian. These were some very interesting stories you posted about. Getting a sentence of life without parole as a 14-year-old for performing wrestling moves seems insane. I am pretty sure most of my childhood involved my brother and I doing these moves to each other. Hopefully the judge can figure out a way to lessen the charge in order to help the young child move forward in his life.
